Mlangun is a journal published by Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa, Kantor Bahasa Provinsi Jambi, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi. Mlangun publishes results of research in language and literature studies, including theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, interdisciplinary linguistics, oral tradition, philology, semiotics, pure literature, applied literature, interdisciplinary literature, also literature, and political identity. Mlangun is published twice a year, in June and December. All published articles have gone through the review process by well-read editors.
